I can relate to the subject of this page, which is what initially drew me to take a closer look. I really like the use of frames on the right hand side of the page, and the screenshot of the page under construction is a great way to add an image to an otherwise photoless page.

The journaling on this page just makes me smile, as it describes the personality of a cat so perfectly.  The fun element placement really caught my eye. It has great use of multiple patterned papers. All the fun papers and elements really combine beautifully!

I love pages that blend a photo into the background and then repeat the same photo as a focal image. The frame and element choices on this page just help to highlight the special day and photo.

After I move past the fact that this page uses my absolute favorite color scheme, I love how clean and graphic it is. The sweet photos and subject are a part of my own kids’ childhoods that I remember and cherish, but do not have any documented evidence of. I think I have a new bit of inspiration!

This is just a great all-around memory page. Years from now, these kids will look at this page and remember the milkshakes their dad made when they were kids. I have similar memories making chocolate chip cookies with my dad and a page like this one that shows those great everyday memories!

The border clusters grabbed my attention from the gallery thumbnail, and I just kept smiling after I opened the larger image and read the journaling.

This page actually echoes something I was thinking about last week. As hard as it is to have family deployed, it is a lot easier than it was even a decade ago. This journaling perfectly reflects the blessing that is technology to families separated by long distances.

That’s it for this week’s Story Board!! Check back every Wednesday for another collection of layouts selected to help inspire you to scrap YOUR everyday real life!

  1. Gee thanks!! I’m honored.

Achoo, I don’t own a cat, but may daughter does. I asked her to write up something about her “purrfectly” spoiled cats and I then made the page. It was fun to work together on the layout. She lives in Switzerland.

  2. Thanks for putting my LO in your selection of pages – woot! xx kel

  3. wow thank you so much for featuring my layout!
