If capturing everyday real life memories through story-based scrapbooking is your passion, our weekly Story Board was created especially for you! Check out these favorites brought to us today by Challenge Team Member Vieve Garner, with her thoughts on why she wanted to share them with us…

"Rebel Heart" by GodBlessAmerica

"Rebel Heart" by GodBlessAmerica

Okay, how great is this page? Seriously pops! But past the bright colors and fun feel – this page really is deeper than that. Using just simple adjectives for journaling explains a lot about this woman. I am definitely going to have to try this journaling method.

"Teach Me" by flattsgurl

"Teach Me" by flattsgurl

flattsgurl shared a special moment on this page, getting her first pup. It is so important to document changes in our lives. I really enjoyed that this page didn’t feel like a huge event, but instead captured the intimacy of the day.

"Getting Close" by Anso

"Getting Close" by Anso

Haha. Fun story, right? I giggled at this page by Anso, only because we have squirrels that we see outside our window. It funny how things that really aren’t IN YOUR LIFE, are still in your life. Does that make sense? What a fun page capturing the less predominant factors in her life. Is there anything that happens to cross your path that you don’t share? Try it out.

"Awesome" by jennyf92

"Awesome" by jennyf92

Jennyf92 didn’t need a lot of journaling for this page. The photo told the story. I am big into journaling. But sometime, it doesn’t need a lot to tell the story. I think pages that have the photo tell the story sometimes are the most powerful. A picture’s worth a thousand words.

"P365, Week 6" by Misty O'Brien

"P365, Week 6" by Misty O'Brien

This page by Misty O’Brien is just sweet. Not a single one of the photos was event-driven. But yet, she captured special moments from the week. And with a small journaling spot,  a week of stories enfolds. It makes me think, how often do I miss out on telling the little things? Just because I can’t do an entire page on a topic, doesn’t mean it should be left out. Combining it with other simple items is a great technique.

"Running Toward Life" by heather*t

Did this grab you like it grabbed me? The journaling used to not only tell a story, but create a line for the eye to follow directly to the subject. I love how at first you think this page is literally about running, but find that it is really about the enthusiasm for life. Great message. Great page.

"No Excuses" by jenny

"No Excuses" by jenny

Jenny, aren’t we all on board on this one? I have found myself saying “No Excuses” a lot, because there really aren’t any. I think documenting it is helpful. They always say that if you write down your goals you are more likely to achieve them. What if you scrap them?

That wraps up this week’s Story Board! Check back every Wednesday to get inspired by another collection of everyday, real life layouts found around the Web!
