Story Board~ 6.30.2010

Time for another round of everyday, real life scrapbooking inspiration! Check out these great pages spotted this week in our neighboring scrap galleries…

Picture Perfect Birthdays … Or Fairy Tales?

Once upon a time there was a mom who grew up in a world where birthdays were special … the one day a year where all things seemed to revolve around her. This mom loved that world and wanted her own kids to have the same experience.

On the Horizon for the 2nd Half of 2010…

We are just days away from the mid-point of the year and nearly halfway through the 2010 Memory Logbook and its Weekly Challenge series. At this mid-point of the year, it seemed a good time for a couple significant tweaks, which I’ll introduce today and elaborate upon in the next week or two.

Summer Project 2010: Week #4

This week was definitely one of baby steps … after previously sorting photos & memorabilia, making some basic decisions about the overall album and ordering materials, this week my sole task was to come up with a list of stories/topics to actually scrapbook.

A Memory Good Enough to Eat!

Our focus for our Weekly Challenge the past week was on my all-time favorite quote… “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”

Story Board~ 06.23.2010

Today’s Story Board, brought to you by Calendar Girl Dawn McFarland, who says… “I am nosy, and I love finding layouts in the galleries with journaling on them and getting a peek into someone’s life. Today I found a range of stories from the shoes we wear to trials overcome to what’s on the mind. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did and get some fabulous ideas for your own pages … I know I did!”

A Peek at a Favorite Father’s Day Gift

I posed a challenge in last week’s Inspired by Real Life Challenge to create a layout or scrapbooking project inspired by a mini book. Today I share my own hybrid project inspired by that prompt …

Summer Project 2010: Week #3

Now that I’d sorted my son’s kindergarten year stuff and had a pretty good idea of the materials, both physical and digital, that I’d be working with, it was time to create a more concrete plan of just how I wanted to pull everything together into an album.

Memories from Daddy’s Girl

I’ve always loved quotes, especially when they fit a specific occasion. “Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy” is one that fits perfectly with the challenge posed this week in our Logbook.
