It’s Been a {Crazy Week}!

As a parent, one of my main goals in my scrapbooking is documenting the many milestones achieved by my children, both big and small. This week’s featured Layout of the Week{Crazy Week} by sascedar – provides a wonderful example of doing just that.

I love how Sarah balanced a few of the more common milestones … rolling over, moving into a bigger bed … with a couple less often recorded ones … outgrowing a particular size clothing or moving up to the next size diapers. While Sarah probably doesn’t give it a second thought, this page also reflects on the baby’s home and culture simply through the documentation of such simple things as “nappies” and “cots,” whereas a similar page for my own kids would include journaling about “diapers” and “cribs.”

Add to all of this a mom’s perspective on what it’s like trying to keep up with a little one this age (I can soooo relate!) and a beautifully simple design and we’ve got ourselves a fantastic choice for Layout of the Week!

Please take a minute to take a closer look at Sarah’s page in the Layout Gallery and leave a comment to let her know you were there. And while you’re at it, how about posting a page or two of your own? Perhaps your page will be our next featured Layout of the Week!

And be sure to come back tomorrow … we’ll have a special giveaway opportunity in honor of Digital Scrapbooking Day that will be especially appealing to those of you with an interest in digi-scrapping, especially if you are new to that particular medium!
