S/O What Projects/Albums are you working on?
I posted about a project I've been doing monthly for a few years - I'll be starting year 4 in February! It is really the way my journey to celebrating our every day started. I was asked about it and after answering Sarah's question I thought I'd offer an invitation for everyone to join in since the "day" is tomorrow!
This is the blurb (soon to be) posted on my blog:
"I started participating in the 12 of 12 challenge back in February of 2008 and I've really enjoyed it. Each 12th of the month I take 12 photos of our day. It has been fun to look back over the months and years - especially with June 12th being Chloe's birthday and November 12th being our wedding anniversary, the challenge seemed destined to be perfect!
The lovely Susan Keuter found the idea via Chad Darnell and she set up a now-defunct blog. The blog was transferred to Facebook with questionable results and no sense of community. In the meantime, I have found a group of lovely women who do the same challenge and think I will fit in better with this group. I'm all about the Linky!"
I recently decided to get my act together and stop re-inventing the wheel and all of my photos and posts from February 2008 through December 2010 in an album. Right now it's done - in element form. I'm hoping to spend the day today putting it together so I can post on my blog tomorrow - with my collection of 12of12 stories for the day!
(Not that we need another thing to do, but I have to say after going through all of the days since the start, I've been moved to laughter and tears. Isn't what this whole scrapbooking thing is all about?)
