Anyone doing a December Daily Album?

Just thought I'd ask and maybe if a few of us are we can share ideas and encourage each other!

I took Shimelles Journal Your Christmas Class last yeat and did my first album...it was a lot of fun and I liked it! This year I just finished Jessica Spragues free Holidays in Hand Class and am thinking of incrporating the 2 classes to do an album this year......still not sure if it will be digi or paper or hybrid...

But I nedd to figure this all out this week!!! As December is next week right?!?!?!

I took Jessica's course too.. Im still not sure about the album... maybe we can do it together.. I need a lot of encouragement!!!! LOL!!!

That is my goal! Never done one before although I have wanted to for a couple years ever since I saw Ali's on her blog. I also took Jessica's class and need to decide what I want to do, lol, as yes, it is almost December! I am thinking mine will be a mix of digital, hybrid, and just paper stuff. And I know I would love some encouragement along the way. Last year I went out and bought all sorts of things to start an album, but it is still sitting in the drawer, waiting to be used!

I have to admit that I STARTED an album last year, but never finished. I REALLY am going to do it this year. I took Jessica's Holiday in Hand, but think I will probably use that just as a reference for the days I draw a blank. I am using some AMAZING templates by Crystal Livesay and have started putting stuff together. I decided for me it would be easiest to start of all digi this year. I would LOVE to do a hybrid album, but I think time wise, digi will be better for me right now.

I have the usual things on my list:
Decorating Cookies
Gingerbread Houses
Shopping
Gifts
Christmas Village/ Lights
Holiday Photos
Holiday Parties
Santa
Dance Recital
For putting up the tree, since we do it in Nov., I will just have a page about our tree.

I have started a calendar to plan some activities so I know what will happen which day. Does anyone have any other ideas for December activities?

OK, so which templates are you using Aly? Does she have some specific ones just for that, or are you just picking ones that you think would be work great?

I am going to give it a go this year. I signed up for Tiffany Tillman's 25 Days of Templates class over at ReneePearson.com. Hoping I can manage to do it in December otherwise it might end up being a Daily January album

It sounds like there are a bunch of us doing this......maybe we can have a daily thread where we can help each other keep up.....

I created my shell in October -- but the ideas from Jessica S.'s class have inspired me. My rule for my album is I can only use products I already have on hand -- which is ok because I often get a lot of holiday themed stuff after the holidays, so I have a stash built up.

Last year I did it -- and I didn't get the photos in everyday b/c I print them @ Costco -- but I did get the journaling done and story telling -- which is the best part of all. I found that I was much more intentional about the things we did and I noticed the holiday a little more (vs. the normal blur) so I'm looking forward to that again.

Count me in, this will be my third year doing it actually. I have small 6x6 album that I have done all digitally, that I just have tabs for each year. I use super simple templates (the first year was just a simple one I made, and last year's were Ali's. But the two years still went together somewhat. So I will be keeping it simple again this year too, to maintain the continuity.
