On the move in the heart of Montana...
A tradition that really means a lot to me is …
The first thing that came to my head is the tradition that we started with our girls which is getting a new pair of pajamas -- as close to matching as we can -- that they open on Christmas Eve. They wear them home from Nana's house and then they have new PJ's that match for Christmas morning.

A tradition that really means a lot to me is … watching my boys watch Santa on the Norad Tracker all day Christmas Eve. The hustle and bustle happens all around them and they're glued to the screenThe girls holler over for occasional updates and we often hear Caden say "wow, how does he do that?" and Cole just laughs. Every year things change except this one event - Christmas Eve won't be the same without this tradition!

I am not sure about your family traditions, but for us here at the Glenn's, the Eve is always "BIGGER" than the day. Maybe its the anticipation of the opening presents the next morning, or deciding which "ONE" present to open on the EVE or I even think it might be the stockings. Knowing that the stockings are going to be hung on your door full of goodies to open up in the wee hours of the night while mom and dad are asleep. And yes, for our kids ages 23, 17 and 15....we still must do stockings every year....lol But besides the gifts, the eve is set apart for "FAMILY" and it is just us, gathering together to eat and laugh and play games and remember how blessed we are. Last year on December 2nd, the Lord told me very very clearly that I was entering a season of *JOY* and that my life would be forever changed. He was right....I have walked in *JOY* for the past year, and am not seeing any changes in the horizon. Because I realize that *JOY* is not a feeling, it's a state of being. And I choose to be *JOYFUL*....
