the crackling of a fire...though I can't get mine going! But around here, it's the Christmas songs that I play, both streaming online and from my MP3 collection.

Magica!!! It reminds me that someone sacrifice for us to live our lives!
Fun!!! I know parties are coming up!!!
I would probably describe the “sounds of the season” as … this year it is my children singing the songs from the Special Agent Oso video. Watched it once and they started singing them all the time!
Christmas music. it's everywhere.
On a quick side note - check out the 12 days of Christmas by Straight No Chaser - it's so well done. heard it on the radio last night and had to go find out more lol

I would probably describe the “sounds of the season” as …
*children's laughter and a very loud "snowball fight" heard as I walked my dog*christmas music in the car*christmas movies on T.V.*listening to new holidays songs on Pandora
In general terms, it's the sound of bad christmas carols when you're put on hold! lol.
On Christmas day it's the sound of ripping paper, crackers popping, groans & giggles at bad jokes and children's laughter as they run around or play in the sister-in-laws pool.
So far, the sound of the season for me is my 2 year old walking around dragging tinsel and singing Jingle Bells, with lots of "Hey!"s between the lines. Gorgeous!
Shanhuns - Bing Crosby's Christmas CD
