I would have to say the sounds ofthe season would be either Christmas carols or children lauging in the snow.

Christmas carols. I love to hear choirs sing during this holiday season.

I would have to say Christmas music in the stores. However, I'm coding an awful lot of car accidents in the ER lately, so the sounds would also have to include cars crashing into each other ;-p

I'd say it's the sound of skates on the ice but that seems to be happening all year round now!

I'll have to go with the sound of singing. I don't have to go far though, all of my kids sing, on and off key, through the house, all of December. Love it

Christmas songs, both streaming over the computer and DD singing them at the top of her lungs (up until now it's been a mix of Jingle Bells and Rudolph, this year she's expanded her repertoire a bit). A new sound of the season this year is DD screeching out Christmas tunes on her violin (she's just learned Good King Wenceslas and Linus and Lucy).

Christmas carols would be my first thought but maybe it's the non-ending stream of advertising & commercials reminding us how many days are left until Christmas (as though we need any reminders -- most of us are intelligent enough to figure it out for ourselves!) Smile.

The whispering wind, the church bell ringing, the crackling fire in the fireplace ....
