hmmmm. ....we have unfortunately had a lot of what I would term significant purchases this year, but the most fun one and most recent was a brand new MacBook Pro for me I had been using dh's old one until it died on me in April. In September, I spoke at a women's retreat and they gave me a very nice honorarium which I promptly put towards my new computer that I had been saving for! I love having my very own laptop!

My latest significant purchase (aside from the pretty dishes I grabbed on clearance right before Thanksgiving) was the XBox Kinect. My hubby & I justified the purchase by saying that this Christmas we'll get our 2 year old daughter the Kinectimals game so she can play with the tiger!

Our family vacation to Walt Disney World. 2010 has been a very stressful year for us, so it will be heaven to kick off 2011 in my happy place. Since it will be my daughter's first trip we have pulled out all the stops and are eating at all the best places

I guess the last big purchase would have been our flat screen tv this summer. Earlier this summer we decided to break from cable.... however, I'm obsessed with Bravo shows, so in order to watch those shows off the internet on the tv, we needed to replace the 9 year old TV.... at that same purchase, we threw on a new point and shoot camera for me... we decided to put the tv on 6 mon, no interest... why not put on a $180 camera, too? *wink*

Our last big purchase was a bluray player. It's our family Christmas present.

The last significant purchase I made was an iPad - just couldn't resist getting one. I love the size and how easy it is to read.

    Default My Last Significant Purchase

The last significant purchase I made was …

a cotton candy machine!!! Not big or exciting for most I guess but I LOVE IT! All that is required is two pieces of hard candy and about 3-5 minutes! AND you can use sugar free candy! Imagine that! Sugar free cotton candy YUMMMY! A guilt free delight!

My last significant purchase was plane tickets to Germany, so that my husband and I could visit our oldest son prior to him leaving for Afghanistan. We were able to spend 10 days touring Germany, visiting with my brother and his family (they live there) and making some great memories with our son, Stephan.

Significant ... hum ... Probably two necklaces with earrings handmade by a local artist and purchased at the Holiday Craft Market in Tucson, AZ where we recently vacationed. I love unique jewelry and get a lot of mileage out of it. Not only is it fun but brings back great memories of places we have visited.
