Probably the replacement Wii we bought in September. Our old one bit it in the spring (stopped reading discs) so after a few months of hearing DD complain about the lack of a game system and DH's overwhelming need to play Rock Band we broke down and spent money we didn't really have to buy a new one.

The last significant purchase I made was Christmas gifts from Etsy. Where I live there is not a whole lot of store options for gifts, so this year I took most of my shopping online. I managed to find some really neat things that will hopefully be enjoyed. I find everyone I am buying gifts for to be hard. The man has everything, legitimately everything. He gave me an idea of something he wanted for Christmas this year, but it went on sale last week so he bought it himself and that is what he does to me every single year! So I'm always stumped for what to get him, but since we bought a house this year and he is putting a bar in the basement, I got him some vintage bar themed home decor items that I KNOW he won't be able to get himself. My mom and her new hubby are in the midst of renovations to their new house too, so I found them some really neat 8x10 art prints that seriously if they don't love they can just send back to me because I will hang them up in our house! Oh and of course I got home made soaps this year too, bath stuff always goes in stockings, so I figured this year instead of the old standard Irish Spring or Dove that I'd spend the little extra to get some pretty yummy smelling soaps for the females and some manly colored and scented exfoliating soaps for the dirty men we live with (literally...have you seen mechanic or miner hands?? Not much gets them clean) I'm sure the man will end up getting our kids toys of some sort, but I ordered them all books. I clean their playroom and bedrooms, they do not need any more toys. Or clothes. So for me books was a good answer. It's so nice to not have to worry about standing in line for 20 minutes to pay for stuff, or scour half empty racks and shelves in the stores. I just have to sit back and wait for things to get here, wrap them and carry on!

Hmmm, that's a tough one!! I don't buy a lot of big ticket item!! OK...if we are talking big big big...then it would be our new living room furniture we purchased LAST February!! *lol* If we are talking more recent then it would be my oldest DD's camera for Christmas that I bought last week.

Probably the holiday to DisneyWorld in Oct. It was the first time we had gone on our own as a family of four and whilst it cost an awful lot of money - it was worth every penny to see the kids faces.

We bought a new couch for our basement. This ended up being a great purchase, as it transformed our basement into a real family room, and we were all thrilled with it!

My Canon s95. It's point-and-shoot with f/2.0, wide-angle capability. It's perfect for those times when using my big ol' dSLR is too much. I'm taking so many more photos lately!
