Blog Comments

I don't know if it's just me or not, but I can't leave comments on the blog. I have tried a few times since the site opened and keep forgetting to mention it.
When I click the comment link it opens a new tab exactly the same as I was just on. ie it opens the blog again...but there is still nowhere to leave a comment. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you possibly get logged out of the blog portion of the site? Maybe try logging in again & see if it then works.

I tried it too, after making sure I'm logged in, but it happens just like Eryn explained!!! I've been dying to congratulate the Calendar Girls!!

Hmmm... this may sound obvious, but make sure you are logged into the blog itself, not the forum. They are entirely separate. The login for the blog is HERE. If that doesn't work, try logging OUT and then back IN again. If that still doesn't work, let me know & I'll try to figure it out...

I'm definitely logged in...when I clicked your link it only gave me a log out option and I could see my profile. So I tried to comment again and it still isn't working.
I have only noticed one comment on the blog before ...I think heather's?...does she have other privileges that would explain why she can and we can't? Maybe it's set to admin only or something?

I have no idea on this one... going to have to do some digging. There have actually been several comments from others, so it's not an admin thing. Heather's settings are no different than yours. Will do some checking & see if I can figure it out...

I was just able to leave a comment on the blog. It didn't work for me when I clicked on the part that says: "We'd love for you to leave a comment." But, if I go down below the Tags and click on the thing that says how many comments there are, it opened up the box and let me leave a comment.

Maybe that's not obvious, eh?? You definitely have to click on comments, not on the line above...

No I clicked on "comments" and it just reloaded the page but didn't open a box for me to comment in. I had to go down to the bit below the Tags where it says "No comments" or "1 Comment" (or whatever the case may be). That's when it worked for me. Or maybe I'm not understanding what you just said. Words are so confusing sometimes.

I haven't even noticed somewhere else to click!! Because there are links in that big 'leave a comment' bit you assume that is where you need to click!

Found it now...I think because it's under the 'you might also like' and facebook/tweet links and the tags...it's just not noticeable. Especially with the other 'leave a comment' bit.
