Me too, except for the winter part.

We have a wedding and a family reunion that we are traveling to in the next couple of months, and I hope to take pictures since this is family I only see every couple of years or so, but my kids are at the age where I spend more time chasing after them than taking pictures. I'm hoping to also do a little sight seeing on the way.

ODS has been asking to go to the zoo and I love taking zoo shots, so maybe some of that as well.

If we have a real summer, I want some playing in the pool/on the slide shots. I didn't get any last year because it never got hot enough to set up our inflatable water slide!

    Not sure what else.

I love all the fantastic ideas everyone is sharing! I am making a list so I don't forget anything!

And a couple from me too...
tired out sleeping kids in the car on the way home after a day out...from where ever, lol.
the bathing suites on the floor after changing
my summer feet in flip flops in the grass
iced tea, which is what I drink all the time during the summer
the clean summer quilt on the bed (does anyone else change their bed coverings for the seasons?)
    sunburned cheeks
    Lots of Love,
    Dawn

    these are great ideas guys...

we are heading into winter here too, although most days it doesn't stop us from getting outside. And it's a busy month ahead, lots of birthdays. My sons' birthdays are Friday and Saturday this week, we are having a park birthday party on Saturday. so here's my list for the season ahead:
    1. birthday celebrations- cake, blowing out candles, baby owen eating his first birthday cake, unwrapping presents, playing games in the park, must get a family shot for this day!
    2. growing out of clothes. winter seems to be the time I notice Harry's arms and legs look like Inspector Gadget in last years tracksuits!
    3. cooking hearty winter stews
    4. hoping to do the five lands walk in july and capture a lot of nature shots
    5. blankets thrown on the lounge- cause i like to snuggle in front of the tv with a hot cuppa
    6. sickness- i'd say fingers crossed we don't have to deal with it, but too late. the boys have both copped colds this week, and as horrible as it is, i think it's interesting to record!

I try to catch the kids with family members we only see in the summer (the in-laws just met the baby for the first time...he's almost 7 months), pool, outside shots, water balloon fights, and whatever other activities we might take part in. The Thunderbirds were practicing for their Frontier Days performance this morning, so I took about 100 shots of them flying over and around our house, as well as a few of the kids watching the skies. I try to keep my camera handy for spontaneous pictures...those are my favorite!

I want to capture the joy of my children live in just the last little things in the pool jumping ... ... ... ... ...... s'mores ice cream cones there ..... I want them to lens, showing their relationship.

My absolute favorite things to scrap are the random moments. The "nothing" moments. The times when my son is just being my son. I HATE the pictures when he stops what he's doing and makes that Picture Face. I have thousands of pictures of him (around 12000, I'm a little obsessed with photography), and nothing beats the every day ones.
