... do you want to capture from this summer?? Let's start a list!
On the move in the heart of Montana...
I am really into photography lately......I want to capture the joy my kids have in just the little things in life.....jumping in the pool....ice cream cones......s'mores.....and I want to get shots that show their relationship with each other. Not to much to ask for right!!![]()
Roasting marshmallows....the only pics I have are hard to see what those kids are doing standing by the fire.
Bugs
Catching fireflies
Building sandcastles (that would need a trip to the beach....yikes)
The dog sunning himself in the sun
Drippy ice cream
My birthday![]()
My biggy is my trip to visit friends and my family and then my Dad's side family reunion that will follow.
But also, DH grilling, DD playing outside, and hopefully a camping trip or two.
hmmm....this is interesting. Even though it's winter here, that really doesn't make any difference...but I have never thought about what photos I'dlike to capture in advance. It's a really good idea and I'm going to start thinking about things i definitely want to capture on film this season. thanks kristin!
I have been thinking about this topic myself lately esp since I just bought a camera phone and don't have to remember to carry my camera. I am lax in taking photos in the summer because I forget my camera unless it is a special event. Here is my list-
1. photos of the activities Memorial weekend-
civil war reinactment
annual softball tournament
Indian exhibits
2. We live on one of the Great lakes so beach, lighthouse, bridges to Canada and ships
3. 4th of July events
4. the International Day parade in July
5. the big sailboat race in July
6. my son's birthday in July
7. the Festival in July
8. the speed boat races
9. museums and historic home tours
10. most importantly-everyday photos of family and summer activities
LIESGRAM
Well, we're heading into winter here, so no summer shots for me. It doesn't snow here either, so no exciting snow shots (not that I mind - I'm not a fan of snow).
I guess for me the shots I'll be trying to capture are my 365 dailies, and I also want to try and get in front of the camera for once, not always be the one behind it.
oh, that's a good one Jacinda.....to get more shots of ourselves.....not always easy though!! But I need to remember that one too!!
LOL so hard when you're always the one holding the camera..DH never picks it up...if he wants a photo of something he calls me to come take it. I know he knows how to use it...I think he just sees me with the camera all the time and decided that I'm the one that takes the photos. DD will take a photo of me from time to time...but...they're always artistic...I hate to think how many shots she's taken of the inside of my nose.
LOL, Sarah!! I know how hard is it to push a button? My hubby is the same way, he will only take a photo if I tell him too... he says its because I'm too fussy... "can you get me so my arms don't look so big?" Blah, blah, blah...
Hmm... I seem to take the most photos in the summer, camera never far from me... so I really can't think of anything special. So, I think I want to focus on more opportunities to take photos... like I need anymore photos that I can't find time to scrap. LOL!
1. Parades... we have largest Flag Day parade in like the nation.
2. Farmer's Market... should go every Sat instead of once a season.
3. Plant a garden... and remember to take care of it.
4. Picnics... we talk about meeting the G. Grandmas at the lake shore.
5. Baybeach... amusement park in Green Bay... first real experience for J.
6. Door County... haven't been since DH and I were dating.
7. Focus on the foods we eat during summer... watermelon, grilling, salads..
8. I want to visit every park in the city that I live in... we have way too many... there are like 26 parks and I don't live in that big of an area!
