Wanted: One Very Special Mommy
Know an extra special mommy with a child under the age of one year? Or perhaps a mommy-to-be anxiously awaiting the arrival of her little bundle of joy?
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and Log Your Memory is gearing up to make the day extra special for one lucky mommy, plus the friend who helps us find her.
Contest Kicks Off Today
Today I’m excited to kick off our very first Log Your Memory Mommy Contest.
Now is your chance to nominate that special mommy in your life … she might be a friend, a sister, a cousin. Perhaps she’s your next-door neighbor or someone you met in your favorite chat room or forum. Maybe she’s your daughter. Whoever she is, she’s someone you think would enjoy some help preserving memories of her baby’s first year. And if YOU are the mommy of a little one or will become one soon, be sure to pass this information along to a friend so that she can nominate YOU!
What’s is in store for the nominated mommies? First of all, every qualifying nomination story will be shared here on the blog so that everyone will know just how special these mommies are. Then, a special panel of judges will take a look at each nomination and choose one very special mommy to receive an amazing Mother’s Day gift basket containing a TON of goodies that will help her capture her baby’s first year memories in style.
Just for starters, this gift basket will include a coil-bound print copy of our brand new Baby’s First Year Memory Logbook, plus a collection of fun tools selected especially for use with this Logbook … a 1 9/16″ stacking square punch, a Xyron 250 Create-A-Sticker Maker, and a beautiful American Craft sage-green corduroy 8×8-inch D-ring scrapbook album filled with 60 clear protective pages just waiting to be filled with memories … together valued at more than $100.

- To enter, read the contest rules and submit your nomination here. Nominations will be accepted today through 10 p.m. (Mountain Time) on Sunday, May 2, 2010.
- All nominated mommies will be contacted via email to obtain their permission to be entered in the contest prior to the release of their story.
- Eligible nominating stories will be shared on this blog and/or our forums during a special post on the following dates: April 20, April 27, May 4.
- Following the close of nominations on May 2, a panel of judges will choose the mommy they feel most deserving of our special prize based on the nomination stories.
- Our winning mommy and her nominator will be announced in a special Mother’s Day post on Sunday, May 9th.
