I usually start with a photo. I typically have a kit in mind since the majority of the scrapping is for either a challenge or for CT requirements. I could NEVER scrap chronologically because I'm way too random for that. I'm a huuuuge journaler. I have a horrible memory and I want to remember things. I have a tendency to not say things out loud and writing them down is very important to me.

I'm a chronological scrapper who used to be a scrap every single photo taken, but am a bit reformed. I store chronologically because I think that way, but scrap whatever strikes my fancy at the moment, though I do try to finish one year before starting another. I can't imagine breaking up my albums into categories...it would not flow in my brain right. The boys can do whatever they want with the albums after I'm dead - because until then, they're still MY albums LOL Besides, we really do like to sit down and look through life, a year at a time. I do have a couple of specific albums - our Disney Trip, our wedding, my husband's hometown memories, but for the most part, it's all together, year by year.

I'm a scrap every story kind of person now. I have learned to let go of the "you have to scrap every photo-event you take". But I do try to scrap every meaningful memory we tried to capture. If it was important enough for us to grab the camera for, probably important enough to put on paper.

    You girls are too funny!
I scrap-oh let me see-chronologically for the 365 pages-and then I think in themes with pictures, I mean, rarely does one picture tell the whole story for me, and journaling
I am working on a december daily book that I will add a page for each of the Christmases past I can find and scan in the photos for my 20 something sons
I am working on a lighthouse book, and have about 40 pages-but I plan to visit about 25 more lighthouses before the end of the year, so I think I will wait to print that until I have 100 pages
I am working on a book of sites my husband and I have seen in Nevada-and maybe I will add Utah to that one-I am not so sure yet.
I am also working on all the old photos of my kids as they grew up
When I printed each page-it was easier-but really I didnt like them as well as I like them when they are printed as a part of a book, so that is how it is going and I only hope that by the time Shutterfly has a great sale I will have another book ready to be printed!
Oh and then of course there will be a book with all the challenges that are about me from my log book and the challenges at Designer Digitals!
So I guess after all of this rambling, I am a pretty scattered scrapper after all!
