I will start introduction so we can get to know each other a bit better.
Name: Christine or Tink(long story)
Nick or screen name: Eucalypta, after a childhood comic/book/play character
Country and State: USA - Oregon
Some personal info: I live with my husband, 2 dogs and 3 evil catz in the beautiful PNW. I am a European transplant, we have lived in quite a few countries after leaving the country we grew up in, The Netherlands. I am disabled, 98% bed/home bound at the moment. We had a stressful 2011 and that reflects on my neuro-immune illness. Having to work/scrap/write from my bed can be challenging especially when it comes to daily photos but I try to be creative.
Hobbies?: Books, I love books, the smell, the form, the stories they tell. I collect cook books, especially those from the depression era and cook books that tell a story. They have to be more than 'just' a book with recipes. Unfortunately I can not hold them anymore, it becomes painful quickly but I am forever grateful for my electronic gadgets that make it possible to oh so easily collect even more books. :-) I'm totally addicted to my gadgets and always on the look-out for new stuff. I design and make prayer beads used with meditation and visualization, I love to write/document my life and that of my pets. I love to travel which is now impossible, hence the RV now I can take my bed with me. ;-)
