In conjunction with yesterday’s release of our new List My Life book, today I’m excited to announce a month-long, list-based layout challenge that will help you wrap up 2009 and be ready to start your 2010 scrapbooking year afresh. Better yet, there’s a prize involved!

The Challenge: Create a scrapbook layout which highlights 2009 using a “100 Things” list format and post it to the Year-End 100 Things Challenge gallery.

Deadline: Thursday, December 31, 2009 at midnight (MTN)

Prize: One copy of List My Life in the winner’s choice of format – coil-bound print, PDF download or writable eBook. Winner will be chosen by random drawing on January 1st.

It might seem easy to sum up an entire year’s worth of memories in a list of only 100 things. But if you find yourself getting stuck, consider the following …

• Personal or family events, both large and small
• Decisions made, or even pondered
• The world outside your home … consider incorporating national or even global events into your list, especially if you have a personal connection to any of them
• Challenges faced
• Accomplishments, failures, attempts
• New additions to the family, including births, marriages, etc., as well as losses through death & divorce
• Milestones reached
• Trips or vacations taken
• Life changes … home, career, weight, lifestyle, health, priorities
• Discoveries
