I love lists.

Wish lists, shopping lists, even To Do lists. Somehow the act of writing something down in a list is just very fulfilling to me. It’s quick, it’s easy … and it allows me to get whatever is on my mind out and on paper so I can move on to something else. Plus it’s just plain FUN! I can start a list and then go about my day, adding to it whenever a new idea pops into my head. The whole process really gets the creative juices flowing for me … one thing leads to another and pretty soon I am just bursting with new ideas.

Lists are also a great tool in memory-keeping, as I’ve mentioned more than once in the past. Check out THIS blog post, for example.

So today I’m excited to add a brand new book to the Log Your Memory Bookstore … one that is FULL of lists … 100, to be exact.

List My Life is just what the name implies … a book of lists that will help you document all different aspects of your life in a way that is fun and easy. By helping to gather all of this information in one place, it will be a handy reference for you the next time you need to fill out a job application or rental agreement. It will serve as great entertainment in a few years when you look back to see how your hopes, goals, preferences and decisions have changed over time. And it can be a great source of scrapbooking inspiration for those days when your mojo could use a little extra kick. It’s also an easy little book to pack around (or tuck into a stocking!) … just 5.83 by 8.26 inches.

This is also our first book to be available in a version created especially for those of us who prefer to work on our computers – the eListMyLife book is a writable PDF download that will allow you to add to your lists right on your computer using the free Adobe Reader. Once you fill in the lists, the entire book can then be saved and printed on your home printer, just like our other print-it-yourself books. It’s been a joy, but like all things I found myself getting burned out designing and decided it was time to get back to the beginning and start scrapping again. I can honestly say this is what it’s all about. The layouts. Telling my stories. I’ve let go of a lot of the stress and expectations that come with designing and focusing more on my layouts, and I have found that this has truly brought happiness back to my scrapping. I still design, but I found that my designs are influenced more by what I want to scrap now.”
