A Fun Way to Recap the Year

Time Capsule: Weekly Challenge #52… Extended

In the world of entertainment, movies remain a favorite in my family.  We love going to movies as a family or having a family cuddlefest at home with a rental.   Movies are something that every age can relate to and everybody can enjoy.  It is also a favorite for date night with my husband.  So with this challenge, it was a no-brainer to recap some of the year’s favorites.

I had a thought about using the covers of the movies and wanted to incorporate “film” somehow.  I also wanted a big powerful title because I knew the covers would have to be small to fit all 10 and the page would need something to draw you in.  I found the perfect template to manipulate with the film strip frames to accomplish my goals.  I went through Google to find the movies that I had known we had seen that year.  My family and I discussed our favorites and I made a list.

I think this will be a fun one to look back on to see if our tastes change or which movies stood the test of time and are still our favorites.  I find that making list is very beneficial when it comes to review pages such as these.

I am Jennifer DeLorenzo and the only thing I love more than scrapbooking is photography.  Lucky for me they go hand in hand!   I love to go beyond just the event pages and really tell my families story.  Time goes just too fast these days and I really think scrapbooking has a way to slow that down and make you cherish the short time we have here.
