Scrap Your Space, Wherever That May Be

Time Capsule: Weekly Challenge #34… Extended

When I read this challenge, I was so pleased. This was a topic made for me. To scrapbook about my home was only natural. Home is where you spend so much time. I feel you just have to feel comfortable in your own home. Otherwise I would not be happy at all. I am a homey person, I rather spend time there than anywhere else.

Leontine's Scrap Room

Normally I am a really slow scrapper, but in this case I scrapped it in less than an hour. At Log Your Memory, the journaling is always most important. So I started there. And because I scrap mostly for myself and my memories I am always honest to myself when I write my journaling. If I am feeling sad, I write that down. If I am happy I write that down too. I this case I journaled about how my home is important to me. I just spend a lot of time there. I am not a person for a sterile house. You may see we live in there. But I also like cleaned up spaces.  I also like little stuff like candles and photo frames and such. The walls are still a little empty and white. That creates space but it’s also a little dull. We only live in our house for a little over a year and we just didn’t find exactly what we are looking for.

Your living room is not the only space you can scrapbook about of course. Think wider. Think of spaces where you like spending time. Scrap about your scraproom or the space at the dinner table where you plant out your scrapbook supplies or your computer. Scrapbooking is important to all of us! Or maybe the bathroom is a space where you can go and relax after a long day of work. It could be that your favourite space is not even in your own home. Maybe it’s your parents house where you spend your childhood. Or the gym where you work out. Or your job space.

This challenge can go so much further than you originally think. While writing this blogpost I even think of our virtual space on the internet. What are your favorite communities or websites. Ok, enough examples here.
