Scrapping Our “Chevy Family” Story

First, this challenge scared me.  Then I thought about the passion for vehicles my husband has.  Then I got excited for this week’s challenge!  First thought was to do a layout of all our vehicles we’ve owned since we got married.  Then I realized probably don’t have pictures for all of them.  Then I realized I’ve always wanted to scrapbook my husband’s old ’55 Chevy Bel-Air.

The only problem, I don’t have any pictures of it.  The only picture I have is my brother in law hauling it to Idaho.  What was the next best thing?  A picture of my brother-in-laws ’55 Chevy Bel-Air finished.

Chevy, did you hear me?  Our family is a huge Chevy family.  My husband’s summers were spent working in a mechanic shop growing up.  Big Chevy family.  For me growing up, I always had a “different” make of truck.  My dad never made comments about different makes.  Now that I married into a Chevy family, we can never own certain makes!!

I searched the stores for car and truck scrapbooking kits.  I then found a few and searched to see what I already had bought and never used!!  I thought the kit I found worked perfectly!!  I did have a hard time deciding whether to put an action to the photo or not.  I layered here and there until I had the right fit!!  It was a fun challenge to finally get me to work about the “Chevy” of our family!
