Time Capsule: Weekly Challenge #16… Extended
When I started thinking about how to go about scrapping my job, my biggest struggle was choosing which job!
I do work outside of the home part-time as a receptionist for a real estate company, but I consider that my break!
You see, I am also a stay-at-home mom to four children ages 10, 5, 3 and 15 months!
I knew that I wanted to use a photo of myself and already had a great kit to go with the theme. I went back and forth with how to journal my thoughts, though. I spend most of my days stressed out, frazzled and feeling like I am going to go crazy! I then started journaling with those thoughts in my head. I got thinking back to past days and some of the things my children have done and I couldn’t help but laugh! I changed how I was going to journal to the “lighter” side and just had fun with it!
I constantly get the “comments” from people everywhere I go, you know, the “you’ve got your hands full!” and “are they all yours?” I also kept those comments in mind while journaling. While my large family might not suit others’ fancy, it means everything to me. There will always be less than perfect moments, but you have to let the good moments shine too!
I am really happy with how my page came out, and can’t wait to be able to look back on it when my children are grown
and I have my grandbabies running around! Just remember that this is for you and your family. Be honest and don’t be afraid to write about the good and the not so good.
I am a digital scrapbooker for about 4 years who loves capturing the everyday moments. I have a more traditional style and love to layer and cluster the elements on my page. I never got into paper scrapping… I love the undo button too much!
