Scrapping Your Workplace

Time Capsule: Weekly Challenge #15… Extended

Once I took a look at this challenge, I knew pretty much right away what I wanted to do.  I had taken my camera to work with me several days for the Week In The Life project that I had been doing, so this was a good opportunity to use some of those pictures.  I also knew I had the perfect kit in my stash, so that part was easy.

Next, I had to narrow down the photos that I wanted to use.  I chose three that I felt were a good representation and then looked for a template that would work.  I wanted the focus to be more on my journaling than on the photos, as that is where I would tell the story of my job.

I could have gone more into detail about what prompted our office change, but I chose not to explore that and only focus on the positive aspects of what I was doing.  I also considered scrapping my job as a mother, instead of my outside of the home job, but I chose to do this one because quite a few layouts are about my kids anyway… I don’t generally focus on myself, so I thought this was a good opportunity to do so.

Sara SchillerI am a 30-something, slightly OCD, mom of two that enjoys digital scrapbooking, mainly because of the undo button and the less mess.  I own and run DigiScrap Addicts, as well as belong to several creative teams for designers at Sweet Shoppe Designs.
