"Bigfoot Sighting" by Kimberly Morris

"Bigfoot Sighting" by Kimberly Morris

I love the clever, humorous approached taken in “Bigfoot Sighting” by Kimberly Morris. The scientific-like recording of details combined with matching journaling plus the black & white photos really help pull this whole layout off. And I can’t forget to mention the titlework… just perfect!

"Ten Things: The Interwebs" by Keely~B

"Ten Things: The Interwebs" by Keely~B

I’m a big fan of “Ten Things” lists, not to mention somewhat random, eclectic layouts so this page by Keely~B caught my attention right away. Since the Internet is constantly changing, it’s fun to stop and take this kind of “snapshot” of what it’s like at this moment in time…

"A-150" by Charlie_x

"A-150" by Charlie_x

“A-150″ by Charlie_x is a great start to what I assume will become an ABC album about the artist… in addition to the ABC concept, which I love, this page has great design appeal… I love the curly-Q stems that frame the top and bottom of the journaling, the perfectly placed embellishments and the pretty spring colors.

"They Said" by tammybean

"They Said" by tammybean

“They Said” by tammybean is another fun layout using a numbered list-type approach to journaling. This is a page full of little details and surprises… the more you look, the more you’ll see. It’s also a great example of a photo-less layout that tells the story through other avenues.

"According to Lili" by LilisMother

"According to Lili" by LilisMother

Though I can’t translate the journaling, I’m guessing the photo in “According to Lili” is of her mother and the journaling likely describes the story behind it. It’s the color scheme that really caught my attention in the gallery, in addition to the well-placed drawing. I also really love the titlework… a fun combination of fonts, alphas & colors perfectly placed to catch your attention.

"February 2012 Faves" by christineirion

"February 2012 Faves" by christineirion

“February 2012 Faves” by christineirion is a playful reminder that monthly wrap-up layouts are a great way to capture a bit of your everyday life on a regular basis… and since today is Leap Day and the end of the month, now’s the perfect time to do just that! This is yet another example of sharing your life story even in the absence of photos… plus a great excuse to play with some of the fun digi goodies available on the market right now!!

That’s it for this week’s Story Board!! Check back every Wednesday for another collection of layouts selected to help inspire you to scrap YOUR everyday real life!

If one or more of these layouts caught your eye and inspires you to scrap your own real life, please consider clicking through to the gallery and leaving a comment for the artist. Thanks for chosing! I’m very happy.
The journaling in english is very simple: My daughter drew me 1 year ago. In the pic my chin is a plum. This was my sing in the kindergarten etc…etc.

  3. Thank you so much for featuring my layout. I am in love with that layout as my hubby actually typed in part of the journaling his self..:)

  4. Keely says:

Thanks so much for including my page!
