If capturing everyday real life memories through story-based scrapbooking is your passion, our weekly Story Board was created especially for you! Check out these favorites brought to us today by Challenge Team Member Julie Ann Shahin, with her thoughts on why she wanted to share them with us…
This layout is awesome because her daughters asked her to scrap about their toys. I love her handwriting, because it adds a real personal touch to the layout. I also love the color in the photographs and the fun banner.
This layout is awesome because it reminds me of the friendships I made myself in dance class. I love her journaling that reflects on her daughter’s progress. Of course, I love color so I am drawn to the wonderful colors and the great composition.
This layout is awesome because, first of all, the awesome title work. The title was what first caught my eye because that is what we are celebrating here, everyday life pages. Jenn has great journaling that really explains how she ticks. Then the clustering and design is wonderful and very pretty.
This layout is awesome because of the great photos and the wonderful, descriptive journaling. I have asked my own mother what I was like at this age, and she doesn’t remember much. I always love layouts like this that describe a little child’s personality. I have to be honest and say I love this kit she used too.
This layout is awesome because of the everyday life photographs of the little one playing with her toys. Again, I love the title work. Something about the simplicity of this layout just drew me in.
This layout is awesome because the layout was made and journaling was written the same day as the actual event. I love how it describes the development of a child learning his shapes, something that most of us take for granted as adults. The journaling conveys wonder, pride, love and joy. I love the blending with the photo mask and the cute photos.
This layout is awesome because it’s about an everyday item such as footwear. I love how Amy uses her sense of humor for the title and journaling. The design is adorable as well, love the mix of patterns.
This page is awesome because it describes the outdoor activities of Renee’s family during one of the early spring days of the year in Mississippi. All she did was add some hand-drawn journaling lines and then fill in her thoughts. I love this look. I also love the three photos with one photo larger to draw in focus.
That’s it for this week’s Story Board! Check back every Wednesday to find another collection of inspirational layouts to help you scrap your everyday real life!
