What Trips YOUR Trigger?

That feeling when I read or hear something that suddenly opens a floodgate of ideas.

A fabulous, interesting, revealing photo of one of my children that just begs to be scrapped.

A book that seems to have been written especially for me that I just can’t put down.

The discovery of a new blogger or business that simply resonates with my own ideas of how things should … or could… be.

An interview, story or show about an inspiring and very real person that seems just “normal” enough to make me feel their success is reachable in my own life.

Those are the things that my friend Jen would say “trip my trigger.” The kinds of things that really get me going and bring on that “all is right with the world” kind of day. The stuff that gets my creative wheels spinning so fast that I can hardly write the ideas down fast enough, I talk a mile a minute, and sleep? Who needs sleep??

And that’s one of the things I love best about the scrapbooking world. This community of creative, talented and generous people with a focus on sharing great ideas and personal stories is simply packed with inspiration, regardless of what your particular triggers are.

So … what is that really inspires YOU?

Love when I find a great sketch or layout idea…seems i just take off with the idea, and let my hands do the work.

I was ROFL when I saw this post title.

    Things that inspire me:
women who seem so put together
    blog posts with beautiful photography
    conversations that click and flow
new business ideas that seem possible
how simple, fresh food can taste so amazing
how memory keeping can open the floodgates of emotion
    sunsets, especially ones over water
a perfect cheesecake (hold the raspberry or chocolate sauce)
finding shoes that fit and require no breaking in
    hot summer nights
brilliant ideas – even if they are someone else’s
new technology to make my life easier
the way my husband’s eyes twinkle when he laughs
