“Two” Cute to Pass Up!

I simply could not pass up this wonderful page by Misty Cato when choosing our featured “Layout of the Week”!

In “You on the Verge of Two,” we get all kinds of detail about the daily life of this adorable little sweetheart, from the way she “is able to charm anyone in range with her smile” to the fact that her “baby fat” is disappearing and a little girl is taking her place.

My favorite part, however, is the “Mya English Dictionary” where mom listed out the words her daughter uses and their “real world” translations. My own kids just LOVE it when I tell them about the funny way they used to say things. Heck, I even love it when I read in my own baby book about how the refrigerator was the “save-til-later” or the livingroom was the “livingboom.” Such simple things to record, but it’s amazing how much enjoyment we can get out of them later in life. (Thanks, mom!)

Add to the great journaling these precious photos, that beautiful smile and the perfectly layered design and it’s easy to see why this is our Layout of the Week. Be sure to stop by the gallery and let Misty know how much you like her page … and as always, consider posting a few of your own.

You never know … your page could be our next featured Layout of the Week!

Oh wow! Thanks so much. I’m honored and it’s so fun to see my girl smiling back at me on your blog. Thanks again!

This is a super cute layout Misty! As I look back at my 3yo son’s pictures, it seems he’s changed so much fron 1yo to 2yo to now 3yo. You did a great job of capturing her now as she continues to grow and the cute words that little ones create are all soon forgotten. That’s my favorite part because each child has their unique words. Way to go Misty!
